Can anyone help!! I have loaded xp on to my daughters computor which we built using a asus motherboard. The machine was loaded with linux but my daughter could not get on with it, however since loading xp we cannot get any sound from the speakers, this can be cured by installing the drivers from the motherboard cd however if we load the drivers the belkin wireless keyboard stops working even if we try to reload the drivers, the wireless mouse is fine, if the sound card drivers are uninstalled the keyboard works fine. HELP!! Sorry should have said I am a complete novice at this!

This may be totally irrelevant but, assuming you have the sound icon set to show in your toolbar, when you are getting no sound does the sound icon still look normal?

Thanks for the intrest. When I have sound the icon shows normally, however this means I cannot use the key board. I have no sound, or icon showing, if I want to use the key board as I have to remove the sound card drivers to enable the key board hence the icon disappears.
