Hello Everyone,
I have a problem with Explorer.exe, everytime I try to open My Computer or any other folder I get the error msg:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE abnormal program termination
(I am running WinXP SP2) I have know clue to why this has started happening as I have not installed any new software or anything recently and I have done spyware and anti-virus scans and nothing.
Also, I don't know if it is connected to this problem, but I was connected from my mobile phone to my PC earlier in the day by Bluetooth????
If anyone could please shed some light on this problem I would be very greatful as at the moment I can only use the internet.
Thankyou, AlmoHunt.

There appears to be several solutions to this problem. Could be registry or file corruption. Seach the net for the error text, you'll see planty of links :|

Thanks for your help Gary_Bongo, I have found the source of my problem. It was the Shell Extension of Free Download Manager (FDM). To find out more read my other post Here
