Hiya,
I have WinDVD Creator 2 and are having big problems with actually burning onto disc with the correct audio sync.
I am trying to burn an AVI file to disc and the first time I tried it was out of sync for the full 40 minutes of the disc. I then tried changing the burning format from the best quality to the one below, and also using a different brand of DVD-R, neither of which had an affect. Well technically thats a lie, the second time I burnt to disc, the audio stayed in sync for maybe 10 seconds and then went to 1-2 seconds ahead of the video.
It is really frustrating because when I open the AVI file using Windows Media Player on my pc it plays in sync right through!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

I guess no-one has an idea of what the problem can be. I am going to try updated codecs etc etc, but I dont think it will help the problem.
To be honest I have had nothing but problems with Windvd Creator. It stalls my pc, and has some trouble shutting down more often than not. After using it the other day, I shut down my pc, only to come back up stairs an hour later to see a warning sign saying that WINDVD has had a problem shutting down and to end the program manually.
I think I will look for a better DVD Burner.
Can anyone recommend a good one? It doesnt have to be free, I dont mind paying for a good one (like I did with WINDVD creator!!) aslong as it does the job.

Hiya,
I have now sorted out my audio sync problem by ditching WinDVD Creator!!!
I was advised on a forum specialising in video issue's, of the burning software ConvertXtoDVD. It cost me £24 for the unlock license which is a small price to pay and hey presto we have audio in sync with the picture woohoo.
I thought I would post how I have solved my problem incase someone in the future comes across my thread wanting help for themselves.
WinDVD Creator for some reason does this audio sync thing alot of the time. I dont know whether I have missed a patch or something however I dont think I will be returning to using it!!!!!
My advise to anyone who has WinDVD Creator and are having problems is to ditch it and find yourself an alternative. What a waste of money!!!!!!
