can i get some feedback on these products please. the main thing attracting me to audacity at the moment is it is free. oh i need the programme to enable me to cut pieces of music from tracks and then use them as samples via fl studio. thanks in anticipation
Don't know the Adobe thing but Audacity works well, very plain interface, but plenty of features. Depends a lot on if you know what to do with them. A bit like photo editing, you can completely recreate something, but if you use every filter and adjustment, it's not always an improvement -when do you know when to stop? I used it to mp3erise some old tapes, I didn't do much apart from editing out gaps, I thought I'd hear first what it was like with minimal intervention -it was fine.Could have eqd it, more bass, filter hiss etc.To me life's too short for a lot of faffing but the choice is there.
