Hi Not sure if this is the right forum... We've been trying to buy things on the internet. When we press the button to add items to the cart, the button goes down, but nothing happens - the cart remains empty! It doesn't matter whether I use Firefox or IE, - the result is the same. I'm running Windows XP with the latest updates, latest Firefox, AVG anti-virus, Zone Alarm. I regularly run Spybot, Ad-Aware, crapcleaner and one or 2 other cleaners. Spyware Blaster is also used.
I've just found that the same problem occurs when running Disk Defragmenter. I click on Analyze or Defragment and nothing happens - the button goes down, but nothing else happens. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks.

Hi there RJL , not too sure if both problems are connected although it would appear so. I'm wondering......have you've made any changes to your PC lately ? If so , and this is a problem that's only started recently , it may be worth trying a system restore.

Thanks for the advice. All seems OK now. The Defrag thing was a mistake - the volume wasn't highlighted, so the button didn't work...My fault. But the "add items to cart" thing seems strange - I checked all the places where cookies are set, including Zone Alarm - I even shut Zone Alarm down, but it still didn't work. Today I've moved the privacy sliders to different positions, and then back to the ORIGINAL - and everything's OK!!!!
