Sound out of sync
      #306657 - Tue Sep 26 2006 10:51 AM

Hi I have burned an AVI movie file to DVD using Nero Vision Express, and I am pleased with the visuals, but the sound is out of sync - it's coming before the actions. Is there any way to remedy this?
Thanks in advance
Clive.

It could be a codec issue.

Yes, I had the option of a few ways to convert to MP3, and when I tried with one of the others, it was lot better. Thanks.

Hi
I am experiencing this very same problem and have done for the last couple of years now. I have tried various software, Roxio easy media creator 9 being the one that I'm currently using.
After a few attempts with this software, I get the same problem and to be honest, I'm starting to lose the will to live.
If you have experienced this with the Roxio software and have overcome the problem ?
Would you please, please, please, please, please, please, please HELP ME ?
(Hope that was enough pleases)
Thankyou.

Sorry, can't comment on Roxio because I don't use it. I was given the choice of which audio codec to use during the process, and through trial and error, I got nearer to perfect sync. I was working with pop videos from TV, so they have been through various processes by the time they got to their output stage! Hope you get yours sorted.

I use ConvertX to DVD and that works perfectly when you burn an AVI file to dvd

Thanks for all your ideas everybody - there's plenty to go at there, and I'm sure it'll help me solve my problem.
