Don't use Supanet Despite saying there's no contract and no subscription and that you can terminate on one months notice when you cancel they try to pretend you cannot cancel by email or within 12 months. Also immediately after you contract with them they tell you the contention rate is considerably worse than they told you before you signed up. Terrible service from cowboys. Avoid. No doubt they will rebrand soon so watch out for them under a different guise.

Supanet do say on their site that there's a minimum 12-month contract on their dial-up account ~ click here I'm surprised by it as I didn't think this happened with dial-up accounts. I'm with BT Yahoo! Anytime (dial-up), there's no minimum contract and I can give them one day's notice if I want to stop using them. Their Terms and Conditions say:
Quote:
This contract can be ended by: (a) us giving one month's notice to you; or (b) you giving one day's notice to us.
I always assumed it was much the same with all ISPs who offer a dial-up service; obviously I was wrong!
