memory card slot in Epson DX4800
      #305997 - Thu Sep 21 2006 07:00 AM

There is always a "removeable drive E" on the pc without any card being inserted. Have never used this before, so when I insert the SD card, can I use it to transfer the pictures to the pc and not just print? Also, when I am finished, do I need to "safely remove hardware" before removing the card?

I would think you can transfer files.

Providing you have finished accessing the card, i.e. no activity, just take it out.
