honestech VHS to DVD 2.0

hi


does anybody have any experience of using the above software

i am looking to transfer some vhs tapes to dvd


have also seen a unit in costco by honestech for approx £40 that converts vhs to dvd
not sure what the unit does though

do these products copy any quicker than connecting a vhs player to a dvd recorder
for instance does a 3hr tape still take 3hours to copy

any help appreciated

Alas I've had no experience of this company or their products. However, I would have thought a 3 hour tape would take more than three hours to copy to DVD (certainly no less).

Unless the VHS video player could play at a faster speed it would be impossible to record it any quicker. And, as TFC points out, it would in fact take longer because of the conversion process.
