Rockstar Games are still giving away 3 of their classic games that have been optimised for the PC.

These are legitimate downloads from the makers.
All you need to do is register for their mailing list. I registered well over 12 months ago and haven't received a thing from them, so I doubt very much anybody will be plagued.

I registered about a year ago too and have never received anything either. If haven't played these before, then i would recommend that you do as they are very good games, and for free, they are great value.

I have just this minute signed up and I have got Wild Metal Country download.
I would say you only get a FREE download if you are new rather than been with them for ages.

Hello SuperClean,
If you mean, can you download the game then copy it to CD and then install it from CD, then yes.
I copied the game I got straight to CD so I wouldn't lose it if my PC crashed (which it has and just re-installed WinXP)
