ntl dial-up icon
      #301954 - Mon Aug 28 2006 12:49 PM

I've had ntl broadband fro quite a while now. All of a sudden an icon for the old ntl dial-up system has appeared in the start-up field of my desktop (bottom right of screen). Why has this happened and how do I get rid of it ?
Thanks.
(system : Windows 98 SE)

Have you tried asking NTL? You could try right clicking on the icon and see if it has an 'Exit' or 'Close' option, but I'd ask NTL before trying anything.

Madeline.

Do you still have the dial up modem connected to your PC and is that, in turn, connected to a telephone point?

Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
