One of those occasions when size really does matter:
Can anyone recommend an online UK site where I can buy an extra-wide, 3-fan cooling pad for a heavyweight 17" widescreen laptop?
I've tried all the obvious sources - eBay, Ebuyer, Amazon, Maplins etc. - but apart from a 300mm/12" wide Antec cooling pad advertised as suitable for notebooks up to 15" , I haven't found a pad nearer the 400mm/16" that I need, so the laptop's 3 fans aren't impeded.

Hi Wildthing, This looks absolutely perfect for my needs, AND there's a 14-day return policy with it, so if for any reason the cooling pad doesn't resolve my overheating problem, then I can always send it back.
Thank you EVER so much for hunting this down for me. I'd pretty well given up hope of finding one and I'm really touched that you went to the trouble of looking for me.
