Popped in for a quick look this evening, but found it Utterly Pointless.

I'll have a good look tomorrow.

Sadly, once I realised every link opens in a new window (about 3 click in) I left.

Hmmm, the only links that opened in new windows were the external links, for me.

One thing that needs looking at though is the navigation. Upon clicking to return to the home page, the navigation isn't updating and staying with the navigation menu from the previous page.

Mmm. Seems to work in a clutch of browsers, other than IE. Ho-Hum...

No new windows in IE for me. It's exactly the same no matter which browser I've used with it.

Do you have iframes disabled? It needs iFrames.

That isn't an error so much as a design inclarity. There is no "home" navigation, merely a home page that opens in the main window. Do you think I should add some sort of opening navigation?

iFrames isn't an issue on other sites. Seems to be a glitch at my end as no one else has reported a problem. Just disregard my previous posts.

I would highly recommend you make the navigation much more usable. Poor navigation is the fastest way to lose visitors.

Can you give me any more specific advice?

As I mentioned earlier, when returning to your homepage I couldn't access the links which were displayed when I was first on the home page. Not very convenient if I returned to the home page to use the links. When the links don't update it makes for difficult use and that is a sure fire way to stop people returning.

A web site should be easy to use and easy to navigate. Web users are an inpatient bunch and like things to be as simple as possible. With millions of web sites out there you need your site to stand out if you want returning visitors. If they struggle with your site they will simply use another which they find easier.

The easiest way to plan out your site navigation is to draw up a 'tree' as a guide. This way you have an overview of the whole site which makes the linking much easier to plan out.

It works fine for me, but I'm sure that maze is impossible to get through!

I'm glad it wasn't just me being dim; I like mazes, so had to try yours and of course I couldn't find a way through it!
