Hi Quite regularly when I boot XP (SP2) I get a pop-up saying that there is no disk in the drive. I am given 3 options - Continue, Try again and Cancel. If I click on "Continue" 2 or 3 times it goes away. It doesn't seem to happen that often and doesn't seem to cause a problem, but seems a bit strange and doesn't seem right.

If it is Windows-No Disk. There is not a disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in the drive, it is caused by QuickTime. Uninstall it and the message will stop. Can you let us have the exact message?

Thanks for that. When it re-occurs, I'll get the exact message and post it. Cheers

As my message above, I am fairly certain that you have Quicktime. Uninstall it and message will go.

Do you actually have any movies which are in the Quicktime format?
If so, locate one and open it, there's no need to play it.
Go into file > Open recent > Clear menu.
Hopefully that will solve your nagging 'No disk in drive' problem.

To be fair that isn't a cure, it's a workaround and no good if the user wants Quicktime.
Fusion's advice should do the trick.
