Windows wont load
      #298426 - Mon Aug 07 2006 05:19 PM

Hi

My friend called me round to his house today to have a look at his computer, normally i can manage most problems but not this one. He turns his computer (dell) on the boot screen comes up so he can still get into his boot menu and setup, but as soon as that goes off the screen goes blank, wont do anything, i tried putting the startup disk you get with the computer in to reinstall windows but once again the screen went blank. I ran some dignostics on it usin the user manual (im not familiar with dells) everything seemed to be fine. Any ideas?

thanks

Can you boot into Safe Mode? Tap the F8 key as the initial screen has loaded.
