Setting picture files to default as thumbnails?

Hi,

I am working with pictures/photos more and more, but I have got a small issue that is really bugging me.

When I am going through 'My Pictures' my image files are always being displayed in different way e.g. thumbnails, tiles, filmstrip, icons etc...

Even if I change the view and navigate to another folder it will be showing a different view. Is there any way of setting to always diplay image files in a particular view?

It's driving me crazy!!! Please help!

Control Panel | Folder Options | View tab

Scroll down the list and place a tick next to Remember each folders views settings.

Click OK and your done.

Thanks, but I already had this option ticked.

I don't get why it's not working.

Your view settings or customizations for a folder are lost or incorrect Microsoft Knowledgebase.
