trimming video files

i have recently downloaded a movie file that is 81 mins long the standard cd is only 80 mins long so therefore i cannot copy it to cd so is there any way (as i dont have a dvd writer) that i can reduce the file by 2 mins to make it fit on the cd as always any help is appreciated..... lucky7

Before parting with any money, I'm fairly sure you can do this sort of thing with Windows Movie Maker.
