Win XP SP2
When I try to log off my compuer locks up. I have been trying to restore to an earlier time, I thought this may solve my problem.However I find that my restore point will not restore.I select a restore point, it goes through the motions, shutsdown, restarts, I then log on, the diag box appears and tells me no restore was completed???Ive gone back to my earlist restore point and working my way through them , but so far no joy...Any advice would be great.

I have the same problem with system restore. Your replies so far haven't answered that aspect. More info on this would be helpful.
