Any recommendations? I've tried Spamhiliator but it really is useless and filters mail that is not SPAM and lets through 80% of the SPAM I get. Even when using it's Learning feature, it just remains useless.
I'm getting around 20-30 SPAM mails a day and it's driving me round the bend

And if that doesn't work, change your email address and don't advertise it to all and sundry.

If your getting 30 spam emails a day then you could be better off changing your email address completely, get a fresh start.
Unless you know for sure that a site is safe then don't give out your email address to them. I don't know how people get so much spam, I have had the same email address for over 5 years and browse the Internet daily and I only get a max of 2 or 3 spam message a month, and even they are filtered out automatically by yahoo!

It's easy enough to get email accounts, so I just use a couple for the purpose of necessity. If these get spammed then it doesn't matter as nothing important will come to them anyway.

Yes, along with some legitimate mail. That BT Yahoo! spam filter definitely has learning difficulties! BT Yahoo! has a facility called 'Address Guard' which allows you to create up to 500 disposable e-mail addresses which you can dump if you start getting spam. I imagine at least some other ISPs offer something similar. Madeline.

Yes, address guard is very good, I use it occasionally when I don't trust the website that I am signing up to. I have never had a problem with the spam filter, never filtered a single genuine email. (Touch wood!)

Fortunately, it doesn't happen very often that legitimate mail gets put in the Bulk folder. When it does, I add the sender to my Address Book and it doesn't happen again. Madeline.

I think you'll find that a link to Mailwasher has already been given by evilmonkeyzz in the 2nd post on this thread!

I generally use disposable addresses for sites that I am not sure about.

Very sensible! I would too if I needed to sign up on a site that I was unsure about, otherwise instant spam and lots of it probably!
