This site is basic at the moment but the main idea and theme is in place. It is currently created with html with a touch of php thrown it. also it has a MySQL database.
I want to move toward flash for the galaxy display but flash has issues such as: a) lots of people don't like flash sites b) browser settings and capabilities c) I don't know how to do it
currently the galaxy is html but the intention is to create a better system and design as well as enabling the instant submission (instant submission is disabled until I figure out a way to stop spammers and idiots posting crap). Not sure how else I could create a galaxy display that's quick to load and compatible with most visitors' browsers. Any suggestions?
You may want to put a solid background just behind the text, so that it is easier to read. The stars behind the white text make it a little difficult to see cleary, and the link at the bottom gets lost. It is an interesting idea, very nice
I like your site and mostly didn't have any difficulty reading the text. The exception was where you've got blue text on a black background, it's difficult to see until you hover your mouse pointer over it and it turns red. Otherwise I like the idea and may well dedicate stars for birthday/ Christmas gifts. Madeline.

I will be changing all the pages (except the main galaxy) to a standard clean format. I think that having a starry background on every page is a little bit too much. I'm looking at using a flash page for the galaxy but it's a bit difficult to accomplish a fully automated and updatable system using flash.
