I just finished a contract with '3' and would like to be able to use the mobile with another company, but I am told you cannot unlock the nokia 6630 on '3'...
Does anybody know if it can, and preferably free...

Have a look at this site. It says they can unlock Nokia 6630 phones from '3'. Unfortunately, it isn't free. According to this page, it'll cost you £3.50. However, you might want to look at a thread on MoneySavingExpert.com before parting with any money! It could be that the unlock code for the Nokia 6630 is a recent development, the last post on that thread is over a year old.
