Just wanted to let you know about this great piece of software called Primo PDF, it installs as a printer on your system, and when you print to it, it saves the document as a PDF, very handy for users of MS office or Works, no advanced features obviously.

You could also just use OpenOffice.org which is just like MS Works, but can save your documents straight to PDF.
I have been using it for years and find it very useful to send documents over email.
