www.esato.com is the best website for anything to do with Sony Ericsson phones - users on there keep you up to date on firmware versions so you're Sony Ericsson always has the latest software.
My new Sony Ericsson will be the P990 when it is released next month. The P990 has WIFI, you can be in the garden and surf the proper internet on it using you're wireless broadband connection

That looks like a very fancy phone!! I just get the best that I can get for free with my upgrade on my Vodafone contract, phones don't really interest me other then to make calls and send messages, but as it is a free upgrade I might as well take it. Thanks for the link by the way.

Just so you know, there is a K800i coming out next month - that one has a 3.2 mega pixel camera and everythingelse as the one you're thinking about getting plus its 3G.
Any bets Vodafone will offer that one too.
I'm on o2 online.

I have the w810i now, just charging it up. Vodafone will almost definitely offer that phone but as with all brand new phones they will charge for the phone. I am happy receiving not the best phone as long as it is free. As long as it makes calls and sends messages then that's alright. No matter how good a mobile phone is, most of them just do things worse then a dedicated piece of equipment. This would be great for me if I didn't already have an Mp3 player, A digital camera and a computer connected to the internet.

Me too, I love them. I have loads (Mp3 player, digital camera, PSP, xbox 360, brand new PC. etc etc)
It's just for some reason I have never been into phones as much as my other gadgets, don't know why at all and it surprises me that I aren't more interested in them. 
Anyway, before we get shouted at for being off topic, I have just used the backup software on my old Sony S700i to copy all pictures and stuff to PC so I don't lose it all. Thanks.

Cool, I havent found out myself yet how to copy photos with it I just backed up all my contacts, text messgaes and stuff like that using a Belkin Bluetooth dongle.
They all rave on about this programme on Esato and rate it very highly. The developer of the software even uses the forums at Esato. Sony Ericsson themselves even use esato which I think shows that it is a good site for the latest info.
You can get Opera for you're new phone you know (Opera mini) from opera.com just so you can view full web if you ever need to. But it can be expensive as vodafone GPRS is. Same as o2 really, thats why I'm thinking of a WIFI handset.
www.mobile9.com/ is a good site for free themes and ringtones too although I make my own mp3 ringtones using either audacity or wavepad.
