This may not be possible , but does anybody know if you can take a functioning Hard drive complete with XP from a scrap computer and Install it as a Slave drive on another computer (with No OS) with the Larger hard drive as The Main (C:)drive.? And would I have to make any alterations to the BIOS of the new computer to accept the donor OS, other than refreshing the BIOS driver?

It will work OK as a slave if the master has an OS on it. If you just try to put it in and boot from it, it is unlikely to work as it will have been installed to run a particular computer and all its hardware.

Thanks Richie Other ways I was looking at it was to mount XP (fresh install) on the slave and No OS on the Machine (Master) Also Mounting XP on a USB Hard Drive and Ok its only keyed to 1 computer setup Could use that to prevent unauthorised access

I think you could do a fresh install onto the slave if you change the boot order to IDE1 or whatever it is listed as. But why? What's wrong with it being the master?
You could install on a USB hard drive, but you would need to check the computer is capable of booting from USB devices in the BIOS.
