Sony Vaio RAM

Hey,

I had 512MB of RAM on my PC, but removed those and installed two sticks of 512MB RAM. It now says theres 0.99GB of RAM - isn't there now supposed to be 1024MB of RAM?

You already have a topic about the exact same thing, even with the same question asked here, stick to one topic it makes it easier.
