I've had about a dozen crashes tonight. Could this be the answer?

Hello greysts,
All NTL broadband customers are experiencing this from what I have seen, me too!. There apparently doing the "upgrade". Lets hope it wont be too long before 2MB customers are on 4MB which from what I have heard could take up to the 22nd of this month but is meant to of started from the 1st of June.
One customer in Swansea has said they are on 4MB already - cant say for 100% if that is correct information.

Caroline, I noted your posting of the problem was First and you you were politely informed that there was already a post about the problem elsewhere, even though it was posted at a later time. Ah well, no pat on the back this time!

Update 21:00:
Issues appear to have been caused by a failure due to overload of NTL's DNS servers.
These servers are now returning to normal levels and investigation of the cause of the overload is under way.
Browsing is slowly returning to normal, however it is unlikely that services will be fault free until morning of 7/6/06

Got so fed up with all the goings on, not able to get some sites, Google homepage not available. WU on a mega go slow we gave the internet up as a bad job earlier, so only just found this thread.
