Are you moving the music files when they are still downloading?

What error message do you get?

the music files ive downloaded from winmx go into my music folder, in windows media player if i click on file, import playlist to library, then click on the folder my music, my shared folder pops up thats the only folder i can only seem to open. if i try to import the files from my music folder to my shared folder it doesnt work because according to windows when typing in my shared folder i get a message saying the specified path does not excist,

Hi Jetpress,

Try this,

Open WMP9 and click 'Media Library'|Click 'All Music' (in Left menu)|R/Click on 'All Music' and click 'Save as new Playlist' type in a Folder name and click ok. TheFolder will now show in playlist. Click on your Folder. Click ADD (next to green cross) then click
By Searching Computer. Change the 'Look in' to where you have stored your Winamp files using the browse button, then click search. A progress box will appear, click close when complete. Click on the the Folder you made and your files should be there. try playing a few.

Let us Know how you get on.

Just to simplify that a little, what you are doing is trying to import a playlist from My Music that doesn't exist. As Jetpress says, you need to first create a new playlist.

Basically, a playlist is a set of paths to the music files, not the music files themselves.
