When do you get this error message? What are you usually doing when it occurs.

Error 1606. If that doesn't help, try doing a Google search for Error 1606. Madeline.

My link's to a Microsoft article too and mentions the message above. It also means editing the registry unfortunately, something that I'm never very keen on. But if it's the only way... Madeline.

Good idea if George has a restore point before this error first appeared. If so, it's certainly worth a try. The restore can be undone if it doesn't work. Madeline.

Nobody has said this before and I hope it's not to late! You should back up the registry before changing anything and you may have done this. If not, read this Microsoft article. If you have any problems or queries, let us know. Madeline.
