Rescuerooney.co.uk - Hoping beyond hope....
      #279342 - Sat May 06 2006 10:00 PM

I'm a mad football fan, and I've been desperate to have a go at my own web site. When Wayne Rooney was injured playing the other week I was in "football" grief (that's one of the sad things obsessive fans occasionally go through).

As a result I set up a web site called rescuerooney.co.uk in the hopes it would give ppl something to have a little smile about, a comical attempt to give hope back to our dispairing fans.

Anyway, its a little ameaturish but hopefull good fun. Appreciate any comments or suggestions - in particular improvements that can be made.

Ciao!

Achillies.

Can't say I'm losing any sleep over it, but for those who are, here's a clickable link to your site!

To be brutally honest... no I can't.

But what I will say is CONTENT!!! Basically, there is none.

Great idea but as said before more content is needed and fast. I too am a mad football fan and being a Liverpool usually wouldn't care if Rooney became injured, given the timing though, I am very concerned, England stand little chance without him, begrudgingly I have to admit he is a footballing genius.

I have to agree that the site is somewhat short on content. What if Rooney were to play and England lost anyway (quite likely)? What if he doesn't play and England win (very unlikely)? When's it over?

Can we keep this on-topic, i.e. about the site in question, and how it could be improved - not terrace talk.

Thank you.

All
Thanks so much for your feedback. Content is really hard to come by but I've added a couple of things I thought would enhance the site. I've added an article on players who already have suffered a similiar injuries. I'm also going to add in the full sqaud details and was going to throw in some links to Fifa, Euefa and the offical world cup '06 site.

I also thought of a download section for wall charts on the world cup and some other stuff some ppl have sent me.

Any suggestions on other topical content I could add would be greatfully received.

Thanks again

Sorry.

That update has given it a bit more flesh but it still needs more, there is nothing to keep someone at your site for more then a few seconds.
