online connection timer
      #278498 - Tue May 02 2006 06:26 PM

Hello playmates,
Is there any gismo that can keep a tab on the amount of time I'm connected to the net? I only have 30 hours a month and have to log into my ISP account every time I want to check my usage. I have tried an egg timer but got tired of counting the grains of sand

Try CutWarn. I've had it for ages and it's very good. Be careful on that site, some of the other downloads may have spyware/adware, but I haven't had any such problem with CutWarn. You can set CutWarn to the length of time you want to be on line and to give you audible and visible warnings for however many minutes you want it to before your time's up.

Hello Madeline,
Long time no internet. Hope you are ok and thanks for your help. It;s good to see you are still here and as generous as always with your time and support. Sorry for not replying before but as you can see I am on very limited online time these days.
Have got cutwarn up and running, just the ticket,
Many thanks, bless yer.

You're very welcome and thank you! CutWarn is one of the most useful programs I have.
