Hi Stanley,
I get as far as browse and it gives me a choice of folders as in my pictures or piccasa but when I press open it just vanishes and takes me back to browse I am not given the option to select a photo.

I am a numbskull Stanley please be patient with me.

Try this ronjon - Open an Explorer window, right click Start | Explore and navigate to the file you want to use then copy/paste the filepath ie. C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Pictures\your picture to the Browse.. window | Submit
Btw ourstanley is all one word, no capitals !

Just tried again, Webuser tells me I tried to submit in improper form, knowing me I probably did.I just can't get my head round this.I may try again later or just not bother, my sanity is more important.

Did you stick to .gif, .jpg, .png ? If so maybe a word with a moderator to access your account, I don't know what else to suggest, sorry.

Click on User Options, then edit under the main configuration Personal info etc. then upload your avatar and choose to upload from your machine click browse, find your picture and you're done.

Ensure the file is .jpg or .gif mainly.
