Please could anyone help?
We have recently changed to a new computer and installed McAfee firewall. The new computer uses Windows XP. On the old computer; using Windows 98, with the firewall installed on "filter all traffic", the Outlook Express worked fine, now, unless we tell the firewall to "allow all traffic" Outlook Express will not come through.
It loads up, but then we get an error message saying "the connection to the server has failed" then gives out all the pop3 info........etc.
Please could anyone advise me how to correct this without changing the firewall to "allow all traffic" each time I have to read my mail.
Yours in anticipation Linda

I don't have or have ever used Mcafee products, but I would recommend going here and viewing the user manual for your particular product.
It will be in PDF format so you will need to have Acrobat Reader installed. You will then be able to either view online or print the manual for future reference.
I think it's always useful to have these manuals printed off, you never know when you might want to refer to it and sometimes that might be when you can't get online for some reason.
I hope you find this of help.

Thank you Jonny,
I went in to McAfee and actually found my particular error. I did as it said (or as I'm told like, I always do) and it's worked perfect.
Many thanks Linda
