Hi, new here and wonder if you can help.
Someone has asked me to set up a PC for them which should be OK (XP Home).
I am sure they are going to ask about dial up and as I have been using broadband I don't know who does what in the dial up market.
Any help would be much appreciated.

BISCit recently won the ISPA award for the best dial-up provider 2006, so it might be worth checking them out.

For dial up i can recommend Flexi- surf or V21 Click here £5.00 for 60 hours per month.
For broadband if available, NewNet Here seems to flavour of the month, starting at £12.95 per month, 2gig allowance.
Others are Zen, costly but probably the best for the power user.
Metronet, now part of plusnet, starting at £11.75 per month, one of the cheapest, although many dislike Plusnet and their policys on usage.
Eclipse, ID Net, Freedom2surf, to name some others

My neighbour's recently signed up with V21 and she seems very happy with them.
