incredimail
      #26722 - Wed Dec 03 2003 04:08 PM

I have been using incredimail for 2 years with little or no problem, untill now. I have just installed office 2003, I don't know if this has caused the problem, I can open incredimail ok, but when I try to open saved e-mail or send a new mail, then incredimail closes down any suggestions. I have tried upgrade, and uninstall then re-install, still the same. my outlook mail program is working fine, I am running XP pro. here is a hijack incase it helps
Thanks

This is only a maybe. When I was about to install Microsoft Office 2000, an experienced user advised not to install 'Outlook'. His reasoning being, this can lead to conflicts with other programs, I took his advice and avoided any trouble.

Try: Control Panel>Add/RemovePrograms>on 'Office' click Change and uncheck Outlook from the setup. If this is not the problem you can reverse the procedure.

Hopefully Iain will spot your 'Hijack' result and give more specific advice.
I live in my own little world, but, it's OK, I'm known here.

That's a clean log,

Personally I would follow Georges' advice then if that fails a re-installation of Incredimail

Thanks will try this, I think you might be right, I just like to have the option of which mail program to use, one for fun and one for serious stuff
