After about five minutes my HP Photosmart 7550 goes to sleep and I have to press the ON button. Five minutes after I finish printing something, it goes to sleep again. I decided to phone the HP support to see if they could assist me. As it's out of warranty, the charge is 60p a minute. After listening to some dreary music for five minutes (at a cost of 3.50) a technician answered. Unfortunately, the tech's (Continental) accent was so thick I had great difficulty understanding him I had to keep on asking him to repeat himself, but it was hopeless. After 15 minutes or thereabouts I just gave up. What a waste of £12.50! Anyone got any idea how I can solve this problem?

It's probably set to save power when inactive. try this
Right click anywhere on the desktop Click properties Click the Screensaver tab Click the button labelled Power...(under monitor power)
In the new window that appears, make sure Hard disks, standby and hibernation are set to never occur
