Hello,
I have made an advert in flash for a friends web site to link to my own. Its a simple text animation and i want the users to press "Click Here" to go to my site.
I know i need to set actions for the "Click Here" symbol but the on mouse over options in the action tab are faded out. I can use the GetURL command but it goes straignt to my site once the animation has finished.
How can i get the on mouse over options to apear. I am using Flash 5.0

Don't use mouse over, set it to go there on button click. If it's a text link, you change that object to a symbol and set it to be a Button type. Then set the GetURL action for the symbol and it will automatically interpret this as an OnClick action.
Hint - using text in this way is a bad idea, as the clickable portion is only the letter shapes, not the space around them. I use text graphics instead, using Fireworks to create a PNG image with a transparent background and importing that as an object.
