I am hard of hearing and find it impossible to understand the people on their foreign based help line. I found my way into sending my question by e-mail and their reponse was the most incompatent example of customer service I have ever met so with a view to changing my Broadband and Telephone service I thought I would ask Tiscali if their help desk was British based. The problem is that their web pages do not appear to make it possible to contact them by E-Mail or am I wrong?
There is also a tiscali forum page .... http://www.tiscali.co.uk/forums/ There are three headings at the bottom .. Broadband Service Support, Dial-up Service Support, Product & Service Support. You should get quick help, and much more sense, out of the members and tiscali support staff there. You don't need to be deaf to have trouble with their call centre in India. The sound level is pathetically low, so understanding the accent is even more difficult.
Agree with above post, you'll have much more joy using the forums. I have rung tiscali tech support once and it was the longest fifteen minutes of my life even if you do get them to understand you (took five minutes to establish my name) it's still no good as they are useless.
the sound leavels on the phone are quite tidy, i have been a member of tiscali for a few years now.i had only one problem in that time, i only stayed with them because it would take a month before i could have another broadband connection
glad i stuck with them.
i cant remember where the call centre was tho sorry
