I have been with AOL for a few years now and had very little trouble they have been very helpful both online and their free Help Line and on one occasion when they thouht it could have been their fault gave me a months free subscription they will listen to you I have now been on BB AOL for 6 months now and had no problems, They get a lot of flack from people that have had problems with them but to be fair a lot of this is caused by members altering settings and installing anything regardless as to its use I would be surprised to hear from a user of any ISPs that has not had a problem, as we all know there is very few if any PCs that are identical they (ISPs)all have to conform somehow in general they do a great job but most of them do not give halve that AOL does and how many upgrade as regularthey know they are not perfect but do everything with in reason to improve. No I am not on thier staff or connected other than a member but believe because of the thier size attract more attention. I have one main criticisam of AOL BB they charge to much and would consider changing ISP for a better price only Sorry about all that and to get to why I really Posted is what happens when my contract exspires and if I did decide to change ISP is my Modem (BT Voyager 100 going to be compatable or any other problem. Cheers Jp

Yes the BT voyager modem is compatible with most UK ISPs
And yes I know we have a tendency to knock AOL, but if you're happy, that is ALL that matters, so of course you can always extend your contract
Of all the Things I've lost, I miss my mind the most

Hi Richard, The short answer NO but from what I am seeing there is still a bit to be done they of course got AOL 9 in America so most problems are sorted and of course any of the problems found there will be fixed when we get it so really the UK version is going to better still, at a guess it will be early next year but it will be worh the wait I am sure Cheers Jp
