You don't give enough information to help you e.g. what version of AOL are you using? your OS? I am running Win ME and have had so many problems with AOL9 (even without all its bells and whistles which I disabled) that I've had to switch back to AOL8 which is quite stable.

Without knowing the type of crash cannot give you precise advice OK But... If you have The computer checkup program enabled (AOL9)KW: "Computer checkup". This will run a "Fix it for me" Wizard program to help run the Aol program better It may ask you one or 2 thing such as click this or close that(and point to the location) There are quite a few of these Wizards in the Help area Mostly Concerned with connection issues. Next go to keyword "Browser settings" Tick the TopSpeed box And in the Web Graphics box below this Select the Top setting if you are on Dial-up and the Bottom setting if you are using a Broadband connection. Click on the Save button to exit Tip: Do what I Did Click on the AOL Icon by the Clock then click "Auto Start Options..." On then next list Untick the "Automatically Display AOL Companion" box and change the setting to "Do not use Auto Start Options" then click the OK button. Now try surfing again. If the Issue continues Download and run Crapcleaner from www.ccleaner.com to make room (TIP: Keep the History files and Cookie Boxes Ticked to help login in on the first screen on this program)
