I/O device error

Hi me again!
I have a Penta Optio 330 digi camera and just moved over to XP Pro. Everytime I go to transfer the pictures they never work first time or so and I keep getting the message I/0 device error. I have the up to date driver for the camera. The other day they it did it again and it appeared to lock my memory card as I had to format it wiping all my photos. I was running it for the last 18 months under Millenium and had no probs anyone got any suggestions?

You updated the drivers but did you update the firmware?

If not download it from here
