wireless broadband connection woes

my daughter and three friends (all with xp laptops) have recently set up with tiscali broadband on alcotel speedtouch modem 330. to go wireless they have bought a belkin F5D7633 UK4a router and are having problems setting up. sorry cant give you exact error message, but if anyone out there has same set-up could they give me instructions for how they managed theirs please? if i can i will get more info from daughter in student house as to errors, but any info anyone can give would be gratefully received,

One of the PCs needs to be hardwired to the router, using the cable that Belkin provide, so it would be preferable to temporarily use the PC that will be physically nearest once configured.

Once the CAT cable is plugged in, open Internet Explorer or other internet browser, and ensure that the Address bar is visible (make sure there is a checkmark in View | Toolbars | Address bar)

In the address bar, type in the following:

http://192.168.2.1

and press enter

Insert the necessary details for accessing the internet into the browser window that appears. Once done, get them to consider implementing WPA-TKIP for security

thanks for the reply - when i rang daughter this am they had actually sorted the problem out, but it's good to know there's help out there for non-tecky people like me!
