There was a system outage the other day on AOL BB Both me and my brother had got kicked off. We got back on with knowing a small secret.. Click on the AOL icon by the clock on the menu select System Information... then click on the Utilities tab to get a page with buttons Click the button called Rebuild AOL Adaptor This will shut down the AOL program and a small message confirming the adaptor has be rebuilt is shown Sometimes it resets the computer as well Now go online as normal ...Does it work? If it does there will be an update download when you log off (couple of seconds) I suspect this is a patch of some sort (doesn't happen all the time)

Sorry to hear that Have you tried a reinstall with the AOL BB disk Unplug your Blue cable first and wait for the message to plug it in Then everything will be back to normal but... the BB drivers are out of date on the AOL disk! As soon as you get on line go to Keyword "Drivers" and download and save the updated driver for your modem to your computer(check the pictures carefully for the right driver for your Modem) Next Repeat the installation with this new driver as above but first deleting the Old AOL BB driver in the Add remove program in the Control Panel (won't work otherwise)... and do it offline It works Identically to the AOL BB setup so you won't be fishing around for the AOL BB disk in Future
