I usually use our router to connect wirelessly to the Internet during the day as I share the Internet with my parents but when they go to bed and I'm still up I prefer to use the Broadband modem.
However since having my new laptop I haven't been able to connect through the modem only through the router. It used to work on the old one and I have installed the modem and set it up same as before.
The modem is one supplied by Tiscali and the laptop is a Sony Vaio.
Any ideas?
