Wireless Signal`Boosters for house??
      #234067 - Fri Oct 28 2005 11:42 PM

Hi everyone,

Purchased Belkin Wireless 54g etc Router and cards for laptops etc and am concerned about the strength of single for my house.

Have found that my connection today especially has disconnected a few times although the router is currently in same room as laptop im using and would like to know if there are any antennas or devices I can place in my house to help maintain the signal for when I "go live" officially in my house?

When it did disconnect I was actually in Shareaza, could this alone have caused a disconnect?

Would be graqteful if anyone knows about the anntenna/signal devices etc that I may be able to get (if they exist).

Thanks

Hi,
You can get bigger and better ariels and also signal boosters. I'm using a US Robotics mutlifunction access point as a repeater to extend the signal range in my house. The signal went from weak to excellent and the connection speed improved hugely. You'll find the gear on Google.
