Hi folks,
I'm finally coming round to the idea of wireless networking at home between my laptop & PC. I'm glad I waited cause now I see there's a new standard called Wireless-G (which is considerably faster). Can anyone recommend a 'Wirelss G' Laptop Card pls ? I've read that the one's with an adjustable aerial (this is a small aerial that protrudes slightly out of the end of the card) are better ?
Also, does anyone know if/when a USB Adapter 'Wireless-G' format is available in the UK or do the US versions work here ?
Any pointers greatly appreciated. Ta. Chris

Sorry but forgot to ask, can anyone recommend website help for Wi Fi connectivity and hardware/software in general......
At home, I already have a broadband net connection thru an external Broadband modem and have been told, I only need a USB Adapter (preferably 'Wirelss-G' standard) and a 'Wireless-G' PCI Laptop Card......in order to go 'Wireless'
But I can't find any 'Wireless-G' USB Adapters for sale in the UK (only in the US).
Does this mean I need to ditch my external USB Broadband Modem for a 'Wireless-G' Internal Modem Card or summat ?
Pls help b4 mi head implodes ;--))
