Can any one point me in the right direction please. I was thinking of getting installed Telewest 512 Blueyonder broadband connection. I was wondering if it is possible to network two computers using the Linksys wireless- G 2.4 Ghz 802.11g modem/router to the above package. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers VEEMAN
When I was with TeleWest successfully I used a Linksys Wireless-G for my network (2 Cabled, 1 Wireless). It was relatively easy to install with the TW modem via the setup CD - running it on the PC nearest the modem first, then on each computer to go on the network.
Obviously, for any wireless connections you'll need a suitable wireless card. I had a laptop with one of the Linksys Wireless PCMCIA cards, which worked a treat, and again easy to install via the setup CD supplied.
