Hi Phil,

If you're running on Windows XP you will have Movie Maker available (or download Movie Maker 2.

If no XP there are various packages available to do the job. In no particular order:

Ulead;

DVD Movie Factory.
DVD Workshop.
DVD Movie Slideshow Suite.
Video Studio.

Dazzle;

Movie Star 5.

Pinnacle;

Expression.
Pinnacle also offer video editing packages but something like Studio 8 may be overkill for what you want to do.

Magix;

Video deLuxe.
Video deLuxe 2 Plus.
Movie on CD & DVD.
The Movie Bundle - AV edition.

Roxio;

VideoWave Movie Creator.
VideoWave Power Edition.

Once you've decided it's often best to shop around (although I find Amazon unbeatable with software 80% of the time).

Good Luck!

TFC
Nothing is a problem for me...

If you have avi or divx files you will need to convert to mpeg1 vcd or mpeg2 svcd. Best place to go is vcdhelp where you can obtain freeware tools and a guide on how to convert and burn. If you already have mpegs, nero can burn with out any trouble, just select vcd or svcd in the wizard. Be warned, conversion can take a long time depending on your system. I have a 1.3mhz athalon and 512mb of memory and a 1 hour movie will take about 2-3 hours to convert.
All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work
