can anybody tell me in idiot format how to remove all old ad-hoc networks from my 2 pcs. the reason for this is have a wireless connection to the pc upstairs and it keeps going down. this seems to happen just after windows updates. i can get a full connection showing on both pcs are connected but no internet on pc no 2. i have had this same problem before but this time i cannot rectify it. so i am gonna start from scratch. but i would like to remove all old networks first.

Open your Control Panel | Network Connections | Delete the redundant connections. Leave the Local area connection and the 1394 connection alone, you can't delete them, but it is possible to disable them.
