just a wee question is there anyway i can take control of one of the pc's on my network where i can do a virus scan and update any programmes that need to be updated,through another pc on my network, i know you can set up most programmes to do this automatically but i prefer to do these things manually, so i was just wondering if all this could be done remotely on my network, and if so how?
Ensure that "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" has been checked in the 'System Properties' | Remote. (Use 'windows key+Break' the select 'Remote' tab)
Another shortcut: Windows key + R (Gives the run command) enter 'mstsc' to open Remote Desktop Connection.
