Junior football site
      #228142 - Fri Oct 07 2005 12:24 PM

Hi everyone,I am still in the process of developing the site and there are things that are "in progress" at the moment.
I have previously helped to run earlier versions but had very little pyhsical input due to it being run from a friends computer (I was just watching really) anyway this season I bit the bullet and had a go myself.
So here it is warts and all www.poyntonjuniorfc.co.uk Regards Tom

I like the site, nice and easy to use with all the relevant info. took a look at the photos and thought you had integrated them well. Good job.

Tom

This is nice clean site, which works well with the team colours. The only thing I would say (and it is said for lots of sites!) is to take the email address off the links page - you will only get deluged with spam mail.

Oh, and - you know that fixtures table, it would look really nice with a solid black frame around it

Seriously though, it works well

Mevetts, Thanks for your positive comments, they are appreciated.

Andrea,Thanks also but I must say you know how to hurt a man when he is down LOL.

I have checked out both of your sites and was very impressed with them, something for me to aim for once I know what I am doing. Regards tom

Hi Tom,

I agree with Mevetts and Andrea, this is a nice clean site that allows the reader to find information quickly and easily. I also like the use of the team colours in the Nav menu and the Header.

One suggestion though, the comment in the news page that informs the reader that clicking on the animated gif will take them to the match report... it may be a good idea to put the same comment in the fixtures page as well. Belt and braces and all that.

Nothing else to add really, except to say well done and that you have a nice little mascot there!

Cheers,

Hi Kev.
Thanks for your comments, good idea about the Links page I have sorted that out already Thanks.
Had a look at your excellent site and have to say it looks very Art Deco,I'll bet the productions are of an equal quality.

Regards Tom
